The Auxanometer BFS 79 is an apparatus to determine the growth of plants, consists of disc with marks, yarn with weights. On its use, one end of the yarn is tied or hooked to plants branch while the other end with weights is passed to a small pulley which is positioned in front of the disc. A pointing needle is attached to the pulley, so that when the plants grow, the pulley will rotate and the needle moves and points to marks on the disc, thus the growth of the plants can be determined.
All of main parts are assembled and mounted on a vertical rod which is seated on a heavy enough iron base to stabilize the apparatus. The main parts height is adjustable.
