This is an interesting tool to demonstrate the vibration resonance phenomenon which is influenced by geometry of an object. This set of tool consists of various shape of Chladni plates, a looped strip plate and a strip plate.

Resonance pattern on the Chladni plate can be seen from formed sand pattern on the plate. Each plate shape produces different pattern on certain frequency.

Resonance pattern which is produced by looped plate and a strip plate are also different. Node and anti-node are easier to observed.
