Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. - was born in Serang on June 1, 1958.

Her basic education to senior high were taken in her hometown. After graduating from senior high school - SMAN I - Serang, she attended the D3 level - chemistry majoring - in IKIP Bandung.  She got the bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Universitas Terbuka in 1995, while her S2 and S3 degree are obtained from 1996-2004 in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Indonesian University of Education), majoring in Science Education.

Her teaching activities was started in 1982 at SMAN 16 Bandung, in 1985-2004 at SMAN 8 Bandung. Currently, she is a lecturer at Sunan Gunung Djati Islamic university in Bandung, majoring in Chemistry Faculty of MT.
Non formal education and training have been achieved, such as: Science teacher performance strengthening (SPKG, PKG); Science teacher performance training (LKGI); Science instructor performance training (LKI); Science technologi and society; and participated in various seminars and workshops related to enhancing teachers professionalism.

Besides teaching, she is also involved as: An instructor Science Laboratory Technician Training Management Work Shop P5 IA 1996; An outstanding lecturer of basic natural science (IAD) at private universities in 2001; A members of the Technical Team of Science Apparatuses and the DMAP Binbaga Indonesian religion department Project Monitoring Team in 2000 and 2005; The facilitator of Competency based curriculum (CBC) - West Java  2002-2003.

Currently, other than as a national level facilitator of the Matter and Changes Kit (Chemistry) for Junior High School (SMP), she also served as a team coach of Indonesian contingent, the winner of gold and silver medals at the 7th Junior Science Olympiad 2010 in Abuja, Nigeria.
