This tool is designed to determine the moment of inertia of various object using oscillation method. By measuring oscillation period, and put the value into an existing equation, then the moment of inertia of an object will be obtained. The moment of inertia value as the result of an experiment is compared to theorytical calculation result.

In one set of this tool, there are some test object such as ball, cylinder, disc and cone which are mountable on object container rigidly, so that it produces accurate experiment data result.



One of the advantages of this tool is automatic data recording which is done by photo gates and the Timer Counter AT-01, so that datas are accurate. The Timer Counter AT-01 can record up to twenty measurement datas.
