With the movement of "Pudak Cinta Guru (Pudak Loves Teachers)" which was launched in 2014, Pudak Scientific held training of laboratory management for teachers and laboratory assistants. Trainings will not only be held in Pudak Training Center, but also in various regions in Indonesia.

Recently, for the second time, we held training in Batam. The event which was held on September 9, 2014, was a joint event of Sempurna, Pudak Scientific’s representative in Batam, and the Education Agency of Batam. The event took place in the Science Laboratory of SMAK Yos Sudarso, Teluk Tering - Batam Center.

This event was attended by 18 participants which are science teachers of 12 Batam’s top schools, which included:

5. SMPS Kartini 1 Kota Batam
6. Sekolah Globe National Plus
7. Sekolah Mondial

10. SMA Negeri 16 Batam
11. SMPS Bodhi Dharma
12. SMP Negeri 27 Batam

According to Mr. Yuli Ismanto, as the Principal of SMAK Yos Sudarso who opened the training, this training was important for teachers since Batam is quite far from cities where trainings are frequently held like Jakarta or Bandung. In addition, he hoped that, by this training, teachers will be able to properly manage their school's science laboratory.

The training started with seminar session on laboratory management delivered by Pudak Scientific’s team and continued with practice session which was followed enthusiastically by the participants. Some of the practices included:

• Basic mechanical measurement by using vernier caliper and screw micrometer
• Basic electricity measurement by using basic meter
• Experiment of solution making and basic technique of chemistry laboratory
• Experiment by using simple respiro-meter
• Microscope maintenance and storage
• Stomata observation on leaves

The activity was ended with photo session. All participants look satisfied after this training.
