In accordance with the agenda we have made, on March 1, 2014 we organized a workshop of “Advanced Science Lab. Management Training for Teachers and Lab. Assistants”. The activity was held at Pudak Training Center, Jl. Mekar Raya Kav. 12 Gedebage, Bandung. The main speaker at the event was Dra. Asiah Soesy Soesilawaty M. Si .

This advanced level training is the follow up of the Basic Laboratory Management Training which we have organized since 2010. This advanced training was focused on simulations. There were simulations of conflict management, tools and materials coding, laboratory administration, tools and material storage.

In conflict management simulation participants were invited to act as laboratory manager. Simulations were carried out in the jigsaw models, to achieve the goal faster. Various matters learned through this simulation, such as how to become a laboratory assistant, a school principals, a laboratory coordinator, etc.

In addition to these simulations, the participants were also invited to practice using tools, such as:

• Four arms balance calibration
• Measuring mass in liquid
• Determining the specific heat of a substance
• Uniform Rectilinear Motion and Accelerated Uniform Motion
• Frog dissection
• Cleaning a microscope
• And much more
