Laboratory is an important learning facility in schools. It is the place where students work on their scientific experiment to proof what they have learned in theory and do innovative things that sharpen their creativity.
Realizing the importance of school laboratories, on June 27, 2013, we has conducted another workshop on "Laboratory Management for Junior and Senior High School Level Teachers and Laboratory Assistant". This activity was held at Pudak Scientific Training Laboratory Room - Gedebage, Bandung. The subject was presented by Dra. Lubna Baraja, M.Si., Basic Chemistry Lecturer at ITB (Institute of Technology, Bandung).
This workshop was joined by 28 participants who came from several citie in Java and Sumatera:

As usual, one of the main subject is how to manage a school laboratory in a proper way. Starting from arrangement of laboratory equipment, chemical storage and managing the waste.
In addition to knowledge on managing the laboratory, participants were also given the knowledge on the use and care of Physics, Chemistry and Biology equipments.
Through this training, participants - especially teachers, will be able to maximize the use of laboratories and the equipments, which will improve the quality of education.
