Initially, this Automation Industry Workshop was intended only for the vocational school teachers of electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, and industry automation. However, eventually we also invited 4 participants from universities; one participant was from Universitas Trisaksti Jakarta, while the other three participants were from Poltek Indorama Purwakarta. The other 28 participants were vocational school teachers from various provinces of Indonesia.

Participants were very enthusiastic when the main speaker, Binsar Siagian, S.ST, conveyed the seminar material of “Aku Cinta Produk Buatan Indonesia” (I Love Made in Indonesia Products) and “Advanced Technology (Otomasi Industri)”. Besides the seminar, there was also demonstration of Training Panel System (TPS), which was the Electro Pneumatic Trainer. After that, participants were invited to have factory visit to see the production processes of Pudak’s products, particularly the ones related to the vocational field, industry automation, and various automotive trainers.

Participants practiced in accordance with the handout distributed. Participants were divided into groups and in turns tried to operate the Training Panel System, the educational aid special for vocational school, assisted by instructor from the Technical Support of Pudak and PPPPTK. The TPS operated during the practice session include: PLC Trainer, Elevator Trainer, Conveyor, Digital Trainer, Fundamental Installation, Basic Electronic Trainer, and Power Electronic Trainer.
