Young Scientists Competition (YSC) is a joint cooperation of Pudak Scientific and Center for Young Scientists (CYS) - Surya University with the goal to find students who have superior research presentations through a science competition. The competing students came from West Java, East Java, DKI Jakarta, Sumatera, Kalimantan,  Nusa Tenggara and Sulawesi.

YSC as an event to find young researchers has been successful. Judging was done by representatives from Surya University, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Indonesia, Bandung Fe Institut, Pusat Litbang Jalan dan Jembatan, Kementrian PU and ICYS alumnus.

Winners will be included in 2013 National Young Researcher Competition, November 15 - 16, 2013 in Yogyakarta, which is also the selection process of Indonesian Team that will compete in international level competitions: the 2014 International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS) in Ukraine and 2014 Asia-Pasific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS) in Taiwan.
