Laboratory practice is an important part in learning, because it helps in understanding of the subject. Therefore, schools are essential to have laboratory facilities. Stiil, there are schools that don't have decent laboratory or not properly maintained.
"We have to understand that laboratory practice is an integral part of learning process which consists of explanation of the theories. Though it can be understood without lab activity, but the learning process is not just for the brain. It would be faster to understand when the motoric activity is taking part", said Dr. Rahmat Hidayat - Manager of ITB Physics Laboratory, in between the National Laboratory Management Training for Junior and Senior High School Teachers and Laboratory Assistants. (Pikiran-Rakyat newspaper, Senin 24 Juni 2013, p. 30).
For that, Pudak Scientific along with ITB has organized a training activity in Basic Physics Laboratory FMIPA ITB, at Jalan Ganeca - Bandung, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 which was opened by Dr. Siti Nurul, M.Sc. - The Chairman of Teaching Master Study Programme.
Dr. Rahmat Hidayat and Dr. Sidik Permana - Physics Lecturer of FMIPA ITB, who were the main speaker talked about how to build a good laboratory with respect to room size, intensity of the light, the number of students, laboratory furnitures, service stations and safety factors as well as practice modules commonly used in Physics lab.
During the next session, the guest speaker, Dra. Lubna Baradja, M.Si - Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry and Chemistry Laboratory Basic Science Faculty ITB, talked on the structure of the organization, administration and management of a science lab. The fact that many school lab tools are kept in storage and unused becomes a particular concern for the speaker as she has seen many similar cases when she traveled and visited schools in Indonesia.
68 people participated in this workshop, consisting of teachers, laboratory assistant, educational techincians and lecturers of Junior, Senior High School and Colleges who came from 6 provinces in Indonesia:

The participants were very enthusiastic in this workshop, especially during practice sessions which has used moving class system that allows each participant to follow all prepared lab modules, as many as 8 module experiments. To achieve the competency of this workshop, each participant was given the task in the form of laboratory administration simulation that has to be done in order to meet the 8 hours training quota.
