We recently held a workshop on Laboratory Management Training for Junior and Senior High School Teachers and Laboratory Assistants on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Pudak Scientific's Science Laboratorium Training Room, Gedebage, Bandung. Acting as the speaker was Kusnadi, M.Si.

This workshop was participated by 26 people who came from 20 school members of MGMP Biologi Sukabumi - West Java. They were teachers from:

• SMA Pesantren Unggul Al Bayan
• SMA Negeri I Warung Kiara
• SMA Negri 1 Kali Bunder
• SMA Negeri I Palabuhan Ratu
• SMA Negeri 1 Jampang Tengah
• SMA Negeri 1 Sagaranten

In this training, the participants were guided to be able to manage school laboratories, to carefully manage the administration of tools and materials, and to be able to use the science laboratory equipments properly.

2 practicums were conducted by participants:

• Chemistry module: Solution making, Solution dilution
• Biology module: Wet preparate making, Observing stomata on leaves using microscope, Observing life on a drop of water, Observing bacteria on youghurt

This Laboratory Management Training uses a one day training format and individual tasks that have to be completed by the participants in order to meet the 2 x 8 hours training quota.
