Pudak Scientific ‘s workshops for 2015 has officially started on February 14, 2015.  This first workshop was the Basic Laboratory Management Workshop, the favorite of Pudak Scientific workshops. This workshop conducted in Pudak Training Center and attended by 14 participants from West Java and DKI Jakarta. 

This event was started by morning tea, to refresh participant before receiving the workshop’s material to be conveyed. This workshop’s speaker was Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. Dr Yunita is a lecturer in the chemistry education department of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The workshop was officially opened at 09.00 am. Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. conveyed materials regarding the importance of laboratory management for a better quality of learning process.

The activity was continued by industrial visit to Pudak Scientific’s factory. Factory visit is one of Pudak Scientific’s workshop advantages. In this factory visit, participant will be able to directly observe the production process of our educational aids products.

After factory visit, participants were invited to do science experiments, such as stomata observation, insect respiration, physics basic measurement, and ticker time setting. Pudak Scientific tutor team was also explained about laboratory safety.

Participants were enthusiastic in following workshop’s activities. A participant said that he was really glad to attend this workshop and wished to be able to attend the advance level workshop.

We have scheduled workshops for teachers, educators, and public for 2015. We hope our workshop could facilitate teachers in all over Indonesia in improving their competence and increasing their networking that they will be able to discuss and share their experience as teachers.
