We recently have held National Laboratory Management training for Junior and Senior High School Teachers and Laboratory assistants on October 26, 2013 at Pudak Scientific's Science Laboratorium Room, Gedebage, Bandung, and Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. was the speaker.

The workshop was participated by 34 people who came from 12 cities in West Java, DKI Jakarta and DI Yogyakarta, those are:

• MTs Arrosyidiyah, SMA Negeri 1 - Pangalengan
• SMA Negeri 1 - Padalarang
• SMA Negeri 1 - Cimahi
• SMP Negeri 237, SMP Muhammadiyah, SMP Bethel, SMP Said Naum, SMP 38, SMP 70, SMP 40, SMA Santo Yakobus - Jakarta
• SMA Negeri 5 - Cirebon
• SMP Negeri 2 - Mandirancan
• SMP Negeri 2, SMP Negeri 6 - Kuningan,
• SMP Negeri 2 - Cigugur
• SMA Islam Al Ghozali, SMA IT Al Kahfi - Bogor
• SMA Negeri 3 - Garut
• Yogyakarta International School - Yogyakarta

In the training, the participants were required to be able to manage the science school laboratory, managing tools and materials administration and be able to use the science lab equipment properly.

The practicum that conducted by participants were:

• Chemistry module: solution making, solution dilution
• Biology module: Stomata on leaves observation using microscope, measuring the rate of respiratory on insect using respirometer
• Physics module: Basic mechanical measurement using vernier caliper and screw micrometer, basic electronical measurement using basic meter and multi meter, power supply and iron core on a transformer

This Laboratory Management Training uses a one day training format and individual tasks that have to be completed by the participants in order to meet the 2 x 8 hours training quota.
