The Science Laboratory Management on Saturday, August 1, 2015 was attended by 22 teachers and science laboratory assistants of junior high school and senior high school of West Java. This workshop was held at Pudak Training Center, Jl. Mekar Raya Kav, 12, Gedebage, Bandung.

Science laboratory is an important facility in a school learning process. However, many school laboratories have not been used properly. One of the reasons of this situation should be the poor knowledge regarding laboratory management.

The material for this workshop was presented by Dr. Yunia, M.Pd. who emphasized about the importance of laboratory equipment usage and its maintenance. It should be considered as mandate, thus should be used properly.

The second session of this workshop was industrial visit, and was continued by experiment practice guided by tutors from Pudak Scientific, which included:

• Observing leaf’s stomata
• Spodoptera’s respiration
• Solution mixing
• Chemistry equipment usage
• Basic measurement by using vernier calipers and screw micrometer
• Basic meter usage
• Electrical power measurement (voltage and current) by using analog multimeter and digital multimeter

This workshop finished at 6 p.m. western Indonesian time. We would like to thank and appreciate participants who maintained their enthusiasm until the end of this event.
