In the end of February, on February 27, 2016, Pudak Sceintific held the “Workshop of Educational Aids Usage in Mathematics Learning”. This workshop was attended by 12 participants from West Java and DKI Jakarta. Speaker for this workshop was Dianne Amor Kusuma, M.pd., a mathematics lecturer of FMIPA of Universitas Padjadjaran.

This workshop begun with Mrs. Dianne’s presentation about obstacles and solutions of mathematics learning in school. Participants was very enthusiast with her presentation, they asked various questions to her.
This workshop was continued by session about educational aids usage in mathematics learning guided by Pudak Scientific’s team. The material for this session included:

• Usage of Algebra blocks
• Integer operation by using number playing carpets and integer chips
• Introduction of geometric frame (face diagonal and space diagonal)
• Geometrical Limit Model
• Mathematics logic learning by using Mathematics Logic Model

Participants wished Pudak Scientific will continue to held educational aids workshop like this. They said these kinds of event was very useful for teachers and students because mathematics learning by using educational aids is easier to understand, compared to lecture method in front of the class.
