The last Pudak Scientific’s training in 2014 was held on 13 December 2014. It was the Training of Advance Laboratory Management. 29 participants participated in this training, which include one participant from Timor Leste.
 
The speakers for this training was Dr. Yunita, M. Pd. and Risa Rahmawati, M.Pkim, lecturers of Chemistry Education Department of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. They were emphasizing the importance of safety standards in laboratory, thus laboratory SOP is required to maintain any and all standards in the laboratory implementation.

To have a better understanding regarding laboratory, particularly the science laboratory, participants was also invited to do some laboratory simulations, which include the simulations of:

• Material and equipment storage
• Conflict management
• Basic waste management
• Administration and ingredients and equipments coding

Moreover, participants also had some experiment that include blood test and basic surgery technique. This experiment was expected to improve participant’s skill and to be the references for experiments activities in school.

This training closed the Pudak Scientific’s training events in 2014, therefore, in this event, it was closed by a closing ceremony for the successful trainings in 2014. This year trainings was participated by more than 800 participants from all over Indonesia, as well as the neighbor countries. We will see you again in next year trainings.
