Recently we have held two training activities.

The first one was the National Level Laboratory Management Training on October 5, 2013, with Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. as the speaker.

A total of 30 teachers and laboratory assistants came from several schools in West Java, Banten and DKI Jakarta. Beside theories, participants were also given a chance to do some lab experiments using some equipments that we provided.

Experiments conducted on the field include:

• Physics - Basic measurement of mechanic and electricity
• Chemistry - Basic technique in Chemistry lab, making solution and plating
• Biology - The use of Student and Digital microscopes, respirometer

Then on October 19, 2013, Physics workshop on Optimizing the use of Electricity and Magnetism Kit in Learning Process for Junior and Senior High School teachers was held, with Dr. Hendro, M.Si. as the speaker.

There were 21 participants in this workshop who came from several recidences and city in West Java and DKI Jakarta.

During the hands-on training session, participants performed 8 lab modules, those are:

• Power supply experiment using rheostat
• Oscilloscope experiment
• Ohm Law experiment
• Electromagnetic induction experiment
• Series R-L-C experiment
• Wheatstone Bridge experiment
• Lorentz Force experiment
• Eddy's Current experiment

Through our workshops, hopefully teachers can gain more knowledge and insight which in return will make them better teachers.


For the upcoming workshop, we will be having Chemistry Games: Joyful Learning. This workshop will be held on October 31, 21013, with Dr. Yunita, M.Pd. as the speaker and open for teachers on Junior and Senior High Schools and laboratory assistants.
