The opinion that mathematic is boring is expected to disappear from the student’s mind.
“A fun mathematic learning process should be a learning process that students will enjoy, feel challenged and forced to think,” Dr. Stanley explained in front of the training participants. The participants were enthusiastic with his explanations. Dr. Stanley was not only explaining materials, he also showed same techniques useful to attract students’ attention in learning mathematic.
After the session with Dr Stanley, participants were invited to try various mathematic teaching aids that can be used in learning mathematic concepts, that may change teachers’, as well as students’, paradigm about mathematic, that mathematic is not merely memorizing formulas. |
