In line with our "Pudak Cinta Guru (Pudak Loves Teachers)" movement, on February 8, 2013 we had carried out the Workshop of Chemistry Practices in Learning Process According to the 2013 Curriculum at  Pudak Scientific Laboratory Training Room, Jl. Mekar Raya Kav. 12 Gedebage, Bandung. This Chemistry Teachers training was the second training conducted of our training series agenda in 2014. The training was attended by participants from Cirebon, Jakarta, Bandung and Sumatra Utara.

The speaker on this training, Dr. Hj. Yunita, M. Pd, presented the materials that include the 2013 Curriculum essentials, the learning method used, evaluation techniques, and proper practice models for learning process.
 
Dr. Yunita said, "2013 Curriculum emphasizes on the scientific based learning. Students are guided to design their own experiments, not testing the truth of a theory. They are the one that will find out the theory".
 
After the brief explanation of the learning process according to the 2013 Curriculum, participants were invited to do practices in accordance with the basic competencies listed in the 2013 Curriculum. Participants were particularly liked this lab activity as it had not been done in their schools.
 
The practices include tea distillation practice, compound making of sulfur and cooper, determining the carol reaction, making of esters, voltaic cell, and nails plating with copper.

In addition, the participants were also guided to create the students’ worksheet of semi-open and open types.
