Chemistry is often considered as a difficult subject to study by most students. In that case, teachers should find a suitable way to attract students to learn chemistry. Therefore, Pudak Scientific held the Funs Chemistry Experiments workshop to inspire Indonesian teachers to have a fun and interesting chemistry learning for their students. The focus of this workshop was various chemistry games using ingredients and tools commonly found in everyday life for demonstration in class. 

Drs. Ali Kusrijadi, M.Si., the main speaker for this workshop, demonstrated and ask workshop participants to make chemistry become a fun subject to study. He also demonstrated chemistry games that use matches, carbide, sugar, hydrogen peroxide, and others.  The games demonstrated attracted participants attention that most of them were trying and studying how to do it. Besides, demonstrating various simple chemistry games, he also explained the chemistry concept in the game.

During recess, participants were discussing various games they just learned and had planned to apply it in their school. After recess, workshop was continued by practicing various experiments and games guided by instructor from Pudak Scientific team. The games included: 

• flying balloon
• smoke bomb
• pouring air

These experiments and games showed chemistry reaction that produce gas and fire. Participants were very excited in following this experiment session because they found many chemistry reaction unusually found in daily life. Instructors from Pudak Scientific team were also explaining the basic concepts about the reactions.

After this workshop, participants were expected to be able to implement the chemistry games in their learning activities in their schools, thus students will able to learn chemistry in a more fun and interesting way.
