Pudak Scientific and PT Sempurna collaborated to hold the “Workshop of Elementary School Science and Mathematics Teaching Aids Development” at SMA Kartini, Pelita, Batam on August 29, 2015. This workshop was attended by 40 participants.

Mr. Agus Fany Chandra Wijaya, M.Pd., a lecturer of FPMIPA Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Bandung, attended this event as the main speaker and presented the material about the learning medium. He said that educational aids usage in school learning process may increase students’ understanding because the learning process will be less boring. 

The workshop held in SMA Kartini’s Physics Laboratory room was very dynamic. Participants asked various questions to the speaker. Moreover, participants were also enthusiastic in using various educational aids to have mathematics and science experiments.

The experiment included:

• Arithmetic number by using the number scale
• Addition and subtraction operations of fractions
• Candle light observation
• Making bridge construction by straws
• Anti-burnt money
• Tea turn into clear water
• Put in an egg into a flask
• Role playing of sun, earth, and moon

PT Sempurna -  which address at Ruko Dermaga Sukajadi Blok RC 03, Jl. Jendral Sudirman, Batam – and Pudak Scientific wished that this event will increase teachers’ knowledge about mathematics and science educational aids usage.
